Formation of sole proprietorship
Hans Kilchenmann founds a sole proprietorship in the radio and record trade in Wabern near Bern.

Opening of sales store
Opening of a sales outlet in Berne; further outlets follow in Köniz, Ostermundigen and Bümpliz.

Takeover of management
Klaus Kilchenmann takes over the management of the company, dipl. Ing. ETH. Foundation of the public limited company Kilchenmann AG.

1970-1989
Cable network and operating building
Construction of the cable network for the municipalities of Köniz, Wabern and Kehrsatz begins in 1970. In 1976, the main operations building is constructed in Kehrsatz with a technical center, sales store, customer service and administration, followed by the founding of the special department for telematics and professional communication technology in 1979. The center in Kehrsatz is expanded to an area of 3,500 m² in 1989.

2014-2018
Changes & expansion
In 2014, the video conferencing business area is expanded with the acquisition of AVC Schenk & Biesuz GmbH and the Zurich-Affoltern site is relocated to Neuenhof. In 2017, the private customer division in Kehrsatz is closed on June 30, 2017, and in 2018 a new branch opens in June in D-79427 Eschbach, near Freiburg im Breisgau.
