Kilchenmann accompanied the railroad congress "Bahn25" in the Novartis Gehry Auditorium in Basel for the second time and took over the complete technical planning and implementation - from process control and stage technology to interpretation and visitor management.
Initial situation/requirements:
For the second time, we were able to support the rihm kommunikation team and the organizers of the railroad congress in the successful implementation of this exciting event. Kilchenmann was responsible for the complete technical planning, coordination and implementation in the Gehry Auditorium.
Thanks to the renewed implementation, we were able to further optimize existing processes and thus ensure a smooth process. Our experienced project managers - including a dedicated flow manager, a stage manager, a sequence director and the project manager - ensured the professional and coordinated implementation of all technical and organizational requirements on site.
Technical implementation:
The focus was on top-class lectures, panel discussions and keynote speeches, including one by the CEO of SBB on the subject of freight transport and the future of the railroads. In addition to the high-quality building technology of the Gehry Auditorium*, additional services from the Kilchenmann portfolio were also used.
Throw microphones were provided for the interactive involvement of the audience. Optional interpreting equipment was available for international guests. Kilchenmann also organized and provided the stage equipment, including chairs, bar tables and other furniture.
Kilchenmann supported the entire communication and planning process to ensure optimal preparation for the event. Two technical Q-to-Q rehearsals and a final dress rehearsal ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day of the event, both technically and organizationally.
*The largest auditorium at Novartis, the Gehry Auditorium, offers up to 621 seats (Gehry small with room separation - 169 seats). The LED wall measures an impressive 12.20 x 5.80 meters. Kilchenmann has been responsible for implementing the extensive audiovisual installations since 2009 and is continuously expanding them. For the "ASCVD (Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease) International Medical Affairs Summit" event in October, additional components were added to the existing technology in the auditorium.
