The Swiss Economic Forum (SEF), run by NZZ Connect, is the leading business conference in Switzerland and took place this year from June 6 - 7 in the Congress Kursaal Interlaken under the motto "When the going gets tough". Every year, over 1000 leading figures from business, science, politics and the media meet here to actively exchange views and engage in cross-industry dialog.
Initial situation/requirements:
The Kilchenmann team has been the technical partner for the SEF since 2008. As technical partner, Kilchenmann assumes comprehensive responsibility for the technical planning, coordination and implementation of the entire spectrum of technical requirements during the event.
Technical implementation:
Kilchenmann also implemented the entire technical equipment this year. This included the installation of PA loudspeakers, LED walls, lighting technology and microphones.
In the main hall (Forum), a comprehensive all-in-one technical solution from Kilchenmann was installed, with the two LED walls being the outstanding element. In addition to this installation, there were various breakout rooms equipped with extensive multimedia technology. In the breakout sessions, visitors had the opportunity to discuss specific topics in depth with experts.
Around 50 media representatives were on site; Swiss radio and television SRF broadcast the event live on their channels.
The 30-strong Kilchenmann team began setting up the entire set in Interlaken on June 1. On June 7, after the last session, all the displays, LED walls and the entire audio and lighting system were dismantled and transported away.
