As the technical partner of the Kursaal Bern, Kilchenmann handled the audiovisual production for the Feldschlösschen Osterschoppen 2026.

The Osterschoppen is a long-standing event to which Feldschlösschen invites prominent figures from the worlds of business, politics, sports, and culture every year. Around 800 guests gather at the Kursaal Bern for an evening focused on personal interaction, socializing, and networking .

The 2026 edition continued this tradition , offering guests a setting for conversation, shared experiences, and interaction in a festive atmosphere.

Ulrich Reinhard, Area Sales Director at Feldschlösschen Getränke AG, describes the event as follows: “The Osterschoppen is an annual gathering of many people from the Bern region and all over Switzerland. We raise our glasses together, talk about the good old days and, above all, about the future—and we celebrate a uniquely wonderful evening right here in the heart of Bern.”

Initial situation/requirements

The Easter Toast combines various elements of a classic social event with a clearly structured program. In addition to welcoming guests and networking, speeches, musical performances , and group activities.

The intimate atmosphere and the close rapport between guests and hosts define the character of the event. At the same time, the setting requires a reliable technical setup that clearly and intelligibly conveys both spoken content and musical performances.

For the implementation, this meantequipping the Kursaal Bern arena with audio, lighting, and video technology, as well as integrating the individual program elements into a coordinated overall concept.

Kilchenmann handled the coordination of all technical components as well as on-site technical project management .

Technical implementation

The technical infrastructure for presentations, speeches, and musical performances was set up in the Kursaal Bern arena . A customized audio setup was used for sound reinforcement and microphone placement , reliably transmitting both speeches and live performances with consistent sound quality.

The visual presentation was handled via the permanently installed, 16-meter-wide LED wall, along with the integration of presentations and live footage. A remotely operated, fixed camera was used for this purpose, capturing the action on stage in high quality and projecting it onto the LED wall where it was clearly visible to all guests in the hall.

In addition to static lighting, moving lights were also used for the lighting design . This allowed for the creation of various moods and scenes—from subdued ambient lighting for greetings and speeches to accentuated show lighting for musical performances.

Additionally, a photo wall was set up in the entrance area, allowing guests to take personal photos and engage in informal networking. Access to the event was routedvia a red carpet in the Forum area, serving as the gala entrance. This visually enhanced the reception area and underscored the festive character of the evening from the moment guests arrived.

Technical support was provided by a well-coordinated team consisting of project management, venue operators, band support, and specialized experts in audio, lighting, and video. Thanks to this clear division of roles and close coordination within the team, the entire evening was executed technically smoothly, efficiently, and at a consistently high level of quality.

Ulrich Reinhard says: “Collaborationwith our technical partner at the Kursaal is extremely important.” He emphasizes thatit is crucial to work with competent people who know what they’re doing, understand the requirements, and know what is needed. “Everything we want to present and showcase has to be just right and fit perfectly.”

The Feldschlösschen Osterschoppen 2026 at the Kursaal in Bern was an atmospheric event where personal interactions and a professionally orchestrated technical setup came together seamlessly.
