At the boutique festival “Adelboden Live,” Kilchenmann provided the entire technical infrastructure on the market square stage and supported both national and international acts with professional audio, lighting, and video equipment.
Set amidst the stunning mountain scenery of the Bernese Oberland, Adelboden once again transformed into a stage for music, culinary delights, and socializing in March. This stylish boutique-style event combines concerts, fine dining, and an alpine atmosphere. In addition to the musical highlights , social areas, food stands featuring regional specialties, and select hospitality zones defined the festival, turning the village center into a lively gathering place for guests, artists, and partners over the course of two days.
Several stages throughout the ski resort and the village offered a diverse lineup of live performances. The centerpiece was the market square stage in the heart of Adelboden, where open-air concerts took place against a stunning mountain backdrop.
Kilchenmann was responsible for the technical infrastructure of this main stage. In collaboration with Gadget Entertainment Group AG (booking/production), the company provided all audio, lighting, and video equipment and ensured a high-quality concert experience for both the artists and the audience.
Initial situation/requirements
“Adelboden Live” is aimed at music and food lovers who value quality and atmosphere. On March 20 and 21, 2026 , the ski resort and village center were transformed into a world of sound and indulgence through several carefully curated stages. The program was complemented by culinary offerings, regional products, and events such as the Tschenten Kitchen Club.
The Market Square Stage served as the main venue, featuring national and international acts across a wide range of genres.
As a technical partner, Kilchenmann was responsible for the planning, pre-production, and operation of the entire sound, lighting, and video infrastructure. The goal was to create optimal production conditions for the artists while ensuring a first-class live experience for the audience.
Technical implementation
Kilchenmann provided all the technical infrastructure necessary for the professional operation of the marketplace stage—from sound reinforcement and lighting to systematic adaptation to the local conditions.
Starting on March 19, all systems were installed, set up, and tested. This included calibrating the sound system, lighting the stage, as well as conducting sound checks and setting up the monitoring system. This ensured a smooth and reliable operation during the concerts.
The cross-loading of the UB40 production posed a particular logistical challenge: the equipment was transferred at the Sillerenbahn and transported to the stage in several trips.
Throughout the event, the technical team continuously monitored all systems, coordinated set changes, and worked closely with production, tour crews, and stage management. This ensured that every show was executed flawlessly.
Performers included Kim Wilde, UB40, Lo & Leduc, 77 Bombay Street, and The Baseballs. As a result, the technical setups had to be adapted with great flexibility to meet a variety of requirements.
In addition, an LED trailer was used for partner communications, branding, and visitor information. The VIP area was also equipped with lighting, sound, and video technology and seamlessly integrated into the overall concept.
