The tithe barn - an impressive building with roots dating back to around 1600 - was brought into the present day in terms of technology. We were able to implement a modern, multifunctional AV concept for the town of Dietikon that combines the historical character with contemporary event technology.
Initial situation/requirements
The aim of the audiovisual equipment project was to implement a modern, multifunctional technology concept. The Zehntenscheune is open to clubs, organizations and private individuals for theater and cultural
events, exhibitions, weddings and banquets.
Technical concept
The hall and stage are equipped with a sound system, an induction loop for barrier-free audio transmission, lighting and video components as well as a presentation system. This means that both attended and unattended events can be held easily and intuitively.
A central control panel allows three user groups to flexibly control lighting, audio and image. The touch panel can be placed and charged magnetically on the rack.
A projector on mobile furniture and a screen are available for the visual presentation, supplemented by a wireless presentation system. The microphones include two headsets and two handheld transmitters.
The stage consists of a permanently installed element and several mobile stage elements.
The shelving unit and the mobile furniture were manufactured by the carpenter according to customer specifications and equipped with practical details such as a charging station and drawer.
Built-in floor boxes in the room ensure maximum flexibility when using the technology.
Conclusion
With the new audiovisual equipment, the historic tithe barn has been successfully brought into the modern age. The sophisticated AV concept combines functionality, flexibility and ease of use - without detracting from the unique character of the listed building. Thanks to the intuitive controls, the versatile application options and the high-quality technical components, the Zehntenscheune offers ideal conditions for a wide variety of event formats - from cultural performances and club events to private celebrations.
