With professional remote support, our experts analyze and resolve many issues directly via remote access. This saves time, reduces travel, and helps maintain efficient operations.

Audiovisual systems are now a central component of modern work and event environments. Conference rooms, control rooms, auditoriums, and digital signage networks must function reliably. The requirements for operation, service, and support are correspondingly high.

If questions or malfunctions do arise, one thing is particularly important: fast and structured support. This is precisely where remote support is playing an increasingly important role. Today, many service issues can be efficiently analyzed and resolved via remote access without the need for on-site intervention. This saves time, increases system availability, and reduces travel costs and emissions.

Remote analysis and support

As a provider of professional audio, video, and communication solutions, we also support our customers during the ongoing operation of their systems. If questions, customization requests, or malfunctions arise, our experts first analyze the situation together with the customer. This often reveals whether the issue is a configuration question, an operating problem, or a technical malfunction.

In many cases, the next step can be taken directly via remote access. Our experts can access the affected system via a secure connection and check settings, analyze log data, or adjust configurations.

Typical examples include adjustments to room controls, audio routing, or DSP configurations, camera and video conferencing settings, or issues related to digital signage such as player status, content playback, or schedules.
System checks, software updates, and initial diagnostics can also often be performed efficiently remotely. This allows many issues to be resolved quickly and systems to be returned to stable operation in no time.

Part of a comprehensive range of services

Remote support is an integral part of Kilchenmann's comprehensive range of services. With our 360° service, we accompany customers throughout the entire life cycle of an AV solution – from consulting and engineering to installation and integration to operation, maintenance, and support.

Together with our customers, we define clear processes, response times, and responsibilities in service agreements and SLA models. Especially for business-critical AV infrastructures such as boardrooms, event venues, or control rooms, this structured service organization ensures high operational reliability and predictable support in everyday life.

Strong focus on customer security policies

When providing remote support, we adhere to our customers' individual security guidelines. We take existing ICT or ISO guidelines into account and adapt remote access accordingly. Depending on the environment, different variants are used, for example, via VPN connections or screen sharing. Depending on the setup, corresponding license models are offered in the SLA, or we adapt to our customers' existing models.
Documentation and log files provide additional transparency and traceability.

Efficiency and sustainability

Remote support contributes to faster solutions and a more conscious use of resources. Every on-site visit that is avoided means fewer trips and thus lower emissions.
Remote support thus helps to make service processes more efficient while reducing environmental impact. Customers benefit from shorter response times and faster restoration of system operation.

Kilchenmann is also increasingly focusing on more sustainable solutions for its own mobility. For example, several fully electric vehicles were recently added to the pool fleet. They are used in everyday service operations and help to reduce emissions from unavoidable on-site assignments.

Remote support begins with planning

Remote support works most efficiently when it is taken into account during the planning stage of an installation. This includes suitable network structures, secure access, and clearly defined contact persons.

If these fundamentals are in place, systems can be quickly analyzed in the event of a support request and adjustments can be made directly. Remote support thus becomes an important component for the reliable and resource-efficient operation of modern AV systems.
