Hans Kilchenmann founded a sole proprietorship in Wabern, near Bern, dealing in radios and records.

Klaus Kilchenmann, engineer with a degreefrom ETH. Founding of the public limited company Kilchenmann SA.

1970-1989
Cable network and operations building
In 1970, construction began on the cable network for the municipalities of Köniz, Wabern, and Kehrsatz. In 1976, the company’s main building was constructed in Kehrsatz, housing a technical center, a retail store, an after-sales service department, and administrative offices, followed in 1979 by the creation of a department specializing in telematics and professional communication technologies. The Kehrsatz facility was expanded in 1989 to a total area of 3,500 m².

2014-2018
Changes & Expansion
In 2014, the video conferencing business was expanded through the acquisition of AVC Schenk & Biesuz GmbH, and the Zurich-Affoltern office was relocated to Neuenhof. In 2017, the private client division in Kehrsatz closed on June 30, 2017, and in 2018, a new branch opened in June in D-79427 Eschbach, near Freiburg im Breisgau.

In 2020, Mathias Brand was appointed CEO and took over the leadership of the company.
