During the "Adelboden Live" boutique festival, Kilchenmann provided the complete technical infrastructure for the stage in the market square and supported national and international artists with professional audio, lighting, and video equipment.
Set against the stunning mountain backdrop of the Bernese Oberland, Adelboden once again transformed into a hub of music, cuisine, and socializing in March. The stylish boutique-style event combines concerts, enjoyment, and an alpine atmosphere. In addition to the musical highlights , social areas, food stands featuring regional specialties, and select hospitality spaces defined the festival and turned the village center into a lively gathering place for two days for guests, artists, and partners.
Several stages throughout the ski area and the village provided a varied live entertainment program. The main stage was located in the market square in the heart of Adelboden, where open-air concerts took place against an impressive mountain backdrop.
Kilchenmann was responsible for the technical infrastructure of this main stage. In collaboration with Gadget Entertainment Group AG (booking/production), the company provided all audio, lighting, and video equipment and ensured a high-quality concert experience for the artists and the audience.
Starting point/requirements
"Adelboden Live" is aimed at music and food lovers* who value quality and atmosphere. On March 20 and 21, 2026, the ski area and village center were transformed into a world of sounds and flavors thanks to several carefully curated stages. The program was complemented by culinary offerings, regional products, and events such as the Tschenten Kitchen Club.
The stage on the market square served as the main performance venue, featuring national and international artists from various genres.
As a technical partner, Kilchenmann was responsible for the planning, pre-production, and operation of the entire sound, lighting, and video infrastructure. The goal was to create optimal production conditions for the artists* while ensuring a first-rate live experience for the audience.
Technical implementation
Kilchenmann provides all the technical infrastructure necessary for the professional operation of the Market Square stage—from sound systems and lighting to comprehensive adaptation to local conditions.
By March 19, all systems had been installed, set up, and tested. This included setting up the sound system andstage lighting , as well as conducting sound checks and adjusting the monitor levels. This ensured that the concerts ran smoothly and reliably.
The cross-load for the UB40 production posed a unique logistical challenge: The equipment was unloaded near the Silleren cable car and transported to the stage in several trips.
During the event, the technical team continuously monitored all systems, coordinated changes, and worked closely with production, the touring crews, and the stage management. This ensured that every show was executed to the highest standard.
Kim Wilde, UB40, Lo & Leduc, 77 Bombay Street, and The Baseballs, among others, performed on stage. The technical setups therefore had to be flexibly adapted to the various requirements.
In addition, an LED display was used for communication with partners, branding, and visitor information.The VIP area was also equipped with lighting, sound, and video technology and integrated into the overall concept.
