NZZ Connect, a branch of the NZZ in Bern, organizes leading annual conferences such as the Swiss Economic Forum and promotes sustainable entrepreneurship.
On its platforms, it sets with inspiration and orientation. NZZ Connect brings together stakeholders from business, politics, science, and government to engage in dialogue on current and important topics.
"Together we're making Switzerland more sustainable!" - Together with renowned partners from business and science, the national sustainability initiative Sustainable Switzerland was launched in 2022. The aim of the dialog platform is to promote sustainable development in this country and to make it visible to the public by networking the relevant actors and encouraging all those concerned to take action.
Baseline/Requirements:
Thanks to our long-standing and successful partnership, we had the opportunity to technically organize this exciting event. The Kilchenmann event team provided extensive support, including technical planning, coordination and execution. This allowed our customer to benefit from a comprehensive range of services.
Technical implementation:
Various components were added to the existing technology in the Kursaal, including a mobile stage. Kilchenmann supplied and set up a total of 14 scaffolding lounges in the foyer.
The Kilchenmann team operated the existing system on site in the hall, including the sound system, the LED wall and the various light settings.
The event afternoon on 12.09.2023 was peppered with exciting speakers and current topics such as corporate management, climate targets and the social pillar of sustainability.
The evening part, the Sustainable Switzerland Night, was crowned by live performances by Stress, Alice Paroissien and Rhea König. Again, the Kilchenmann team came in for all the technical support.
On the morning of Sept. 13, 2023, the presentations continued before the stage setting was slightly changed. The presentation of the Family Business Award was on the agenda. Since 2012, this award has annually honored an exemplary family business that stands out for its above-average and sustainable entrepreneurial activities. The main prize, an Audi, found a place on the stage.
A total of 15 people were on site for set-up and dismantling, as well as during the entire event.
