NZZ Connect, a branch of the NZZ in Berne, organizes leading annual conferences such as the Swiss Economic Forum and promotes sustainable entrepreneurship.
Its platforms provide inspiration and guidance. NZZ Connect brings together stakeholders from business, politics, science and public authorities to engage in dialog on current and important topics.
"Together we are making Switzerland more sustainable!" - The national sustainability initiative Sustainable Switzerland was launched in 2022 together with renowned partners from business and science. The aim of the dialog platform is to promote sustainable development in this country and make it visible to the public by networking the relevant stakeholders and encouraging all those affected to take action.
Initial situation/requirements:
Thanks to our long-standing and successful partnership, we had the opportunity to technically organize this exciting event. The Kilchenmann event team provided extensive support, including technical planning, coordination and implementation. This enabled our client to benefit from a comprehensive range of services.
Technical implementation:
Various components were added to the existing technology in the Kursaal, including a mobile stage. Kilchenmann supplied and set up a total of 14 scaffolding lounges in the foyer.
The Kilchenmann team operated the existing system on site in the hall, including the sound system, the LED wall and the various lighting settings.
The afternoon event on 12.09.2023 was packed with exciting speakers and current topics such as corporate governance, climate targets and the social pillar of sustainability.
The evening part, the Sustainable Switzerland Night, was crowned by live performances by Stress, Alice Paroissien and Rhea König. Here, too, the Kilchenmann team provided all the technical support.
On the morning of 13.09.2023, the presentations continued before the stage setting was slightly rearranged. It was time for the presentation of the Family Business Award. Since 2012, this award has been presented annually to an exemplary family business that is characterized by above-average and sustainable entrepreneurial action. The main prize, an Audi, was presented on the stage.
A total of 15 people were on site for the set-up and dismantling as well as during the entire event.
