Kilchenmann was able to execute the exciting order for the integration of the audiovisual system in the Vi-Lab room.
In this lab, Nagra wants to present geological data clearly, develop ideas interactively and be able to share the spontaneously generated and prepared content with other groups. This is elegantly achieved with the video wall, which consists of nine 55-inch UniSee Barco borderless displays. These are visually framed by a specially developed wooden panel, which is equipped with infrared transmitters and receivers, turning the display into a touchscreen. The camera is discreetly integrated into the frame, rounding off this installation both technically and visually.
Interactive working is also made possible by an 85-inch Samsung Flip touch display, which is mounted vertically. A video conferencing system, an audio system, a mobile touch controller (Logitech Tap) and a wireless presentation system can also be found in this modern room. Quality awareness is sometimes visible in unexpected places: the Shure ceiling microphone, for example, was sprayed in the ceiling color to blend in with the surroundings.
The software for controlling the communication systems was developed by Kilchenmann. The customer can choose between a team or presentation mode at the start and manage the content using a high-quality image processor as the core of the display wall. Various lighting scenes can also be selected using the same control system. The content presentation options are completed by two existing 8K displays. These have also been integrated into the programming. The four HDMI connections on the wall are used to display 4K content on the video wall and on the two displays.
Kilchenmann guarantees safe and reliable use of the entire media technology with a service contract tailored to the customer's needs.
