Kilchenmann was able to execute the exciting contract for the integration of the audio-visual system in the Vi-Lab room.
In this lab, Nagra wants to be able to present geological data clearly, work out ideas interactively and share the spontaneously created and prepared content with other groups. This is achieved elegantly with the video wall, which consists of nine 55-inch UniSee Barco rimless displays. These are visually framed by a specially designed wooden paneling, which has been equipped with infrared transmitters and receivers, turning the display into a touch screen. The camera is discreetly integrated into the frame, which rounds off this installation both technically and visually.
Interactive work is also possible with an 85-inch Samsung Flip touch display, which is mounted vertically. A video conferencing system, an audio system, a mobile touch controller (Logitech Tap) and a wireless presentation system can also be found in this modern room. Quality consciousness is sometimes visible in unexpected places: for example, the Shure ceiling microphone was sprayed in the ceiling colour to blend with the surroundings.
The software for controlling the communication systems was developed by Kilchenmann. When it is launched, the client can choose between a team or presentation mode as well as manage the content by means of a high-quality image processor, which is the core of the display wall. The same control system can also be used to select different lighting scenes. The content presentation options are completed by two existing 8K displays. They have also been integrated into the programming. The four HDMI connections on the wall are used to display 4K content on the video wall as well as on the two displays.
With a service contract adapted to the customer's needs, Kilchenmann guarantees a safe and reliable use of the entire media technology.
