As part of the expansion of its headquarters in Kirchberg, Louis Stuber AG commissioned Kilchenmann AG to provide the technical equipment for the newly created meeting rooms and to install information displays in the entrance area and cafeteria. The aim was to provide modern, easy-to-use, and versatile media technology that would optimally support everyday work and professional meetings.
With the expansion of the office space, new meeting rooms were created on the first floor, which were to be equipped with state-of-the-art technology. At the same time, information displays in the entrance area and cafeteria were to facilitate internal communication and the presentation of information. The technology had to be flexible in use, both for internal meetings and external video conferences, and feature intuitive operation.
Initial situation/requirements
The new office space required sophisticated technical equipment that would meet the requirements for presentation, communication, and information. Particular attention was paid to equipping the two meeting rooms with video conferencing solutions and to the central provision of information via displays in publicly accessible areas. In addition, background sound was to be created for the office space and the adjacent production area to ensure a pleasant working environment.
Technical implementation
A digital signage system with MagicInfo was installed for the information displays. This platform allows content such as company news, safety notices, production information, and event announcements to be centrally managed and displayed on a scheduled basis. A total of three displays in sizes 55, 65, and 85 inches were used to present current information in a clear and appealing manner.
The large meeting room has a Microsoft Teams video conferencing solution that includes an 85-inch display, a PTZ camera, two speakers, and a WPP-30 connection. This equipment enables flexible online meetings and professional presentations with high image and sound quality.
The small meeting room is also equipped with a Microsoft Teams video conferencing solution. Here, a 55-inch display combined with an all-in-one bar, a touch panel, and a USB cable connection ensures easy operation and the ability to connect external devices without any problems. In addition, background sound systems with smart speakers have been installed in the office spaces and production area, creating a pleasant working environment.
Conclusion
Thanks to comprehensive technical equipment, the new office premises of Louis Stuber AG in Kirchberg now feature modern, intuitive media technology that provides targeted support for everyday business. The Microsoft Teams video conferencing solutions in the meeting rooms enable professional, location-independent meetings, while the digital signage displays with MagicInfo ensure the central and efficient distribution of information in the entrance area and cafeteria. The installed background sound system with smart speakers rounds off the overall concept.
