As the "landlord", EBL invests in sustainable and innovative energy generation projects and a secure supply. As part of the site development, EBL is setting another milestone with the Elefantehuus and opening its doors to the public.
Tenant: The team from the Kulturhotel Guggenheim in Liestal have taken over this location as experienced and passionate hosts. With attention to detail and genuine hospitality, every event at the Elefantenhuus is an experience.
Initial situation/requirements:
Kilchenmann won the exciting contract for the integration of the entire audiovisual system in a tendering process. This included the electrical, mechanical, control, AV technology audio/video, scenic lighting and hall lighting control lots.
Technical implementation:
Three PTZ cameras with 4K resolution were installed in the hall to ensure high-quality video recordings and transmissions. The microphones were designed to be flexible through the use of mobile Shure handheld microphones and bodypacks, which enable high mobility and clear voice transmission.
A Crestron video conferencing codec has been integrated to enable professional video conferencing. Live streams can also be carried out to broadcast events live on the internet via AVoIP. The lighting system in the hall comprises 32 spotlights, many of which are movable for various light shows. A large lighting console enables the entire lighting installation to be controlled. The powerful sound system from Fohhn, L'Acoustics and Tannoy with various line arrays, ceiling and cell loudspeakers and subwoofers provides perfect sound throughout the hall. An induction loop for the hard of hearing was also installed.
A TV tuner was installed for multimedia content, which can be displayed on the built-in 15m2 Barco LED wall. With the Barco ClickShare presentation system, content can be transmitted wirelessly from various devices to the LED wall. To support stage performances, two 32-inch stage monitors can be used to give speakers and artists a perfect view of their presentations and performances.
The entire system has different event modes that can be operated via various touch panels.
An 86-inch NEC display in the foyer is used as a digital signage solution. Events and other important information are displayed.
