In Switzerland, Coca-Cola is represented by two companies: on the one hand, The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC), which is the brand owner and owns the beverage concentrates. It develops the marketing strategies worldwide, which are adapted to the local markets.
On the other hand, there is the franchisee, the so-called "bottler". In Switzerland, as in 28 other European countries, this is Coca-Cola HBC, an independent company that is listed on the London Stock Exchange and has its headquarters in Zug.
Coca-Cola HBC operates two production sites in Switzerland, one in Dietlikon and one in Vals. Coca-Cola and Co. have been produced in Dietlikon since 1936. Valser Mineralquellen GmbH in Vals bottles pure mineral water from the St. Peter and St. Paul springs.
Initial situation/requirements:
For the annual Coca-Cola Commercial Kick-Off, Kilchenmann realized a tailor-made event technology solution in the VIP lounge and on the ice rink of the PostFinance Arena. In close cooperation with the client, the event agency Kesch and the host Sportgastro AG, the event team ensured a smooth technical implementation - from technical planning to execution
Technical implementation:
In the VIP lounge, we set up a stage with lighting and sound to enable an optimal presentation. To ensure that all participants could see the content clearly, we installed two large projection screens to the left and right of the stage. A three-tiered platform ensured that all guests had a good view of the stage. Speaker monitors supported the speakers, and two interpreting booths for French and English were available for the multilingual implementation to enable simultaneous translation. Our team took care of the video direction and presentation control, ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
We set up another stage on the ice rink, equipped with two large screens, each approx. 5.5 meters wide, a powerful PA system and suitable stage lighting. The entire technology was mounted on the existing truss construction.
We also integrated the PostFinance Arena's LED cube into the presentation, on which live images were shown - a special highlight that created even more atmosphere. Here too, our team managed the video direction and presentation technology. In addition, a media server and three cameras were used to record and transmit live images in real time.
The show block on the ice was a real highlight: with precise lighting, fog effects and impressive pyrotechnics, our specialists ensured a spectacular performance.
