The site of the former Deisswil cardboard factory is located in the immediate vicinity of the city of Bern. Today it is home to Bernapark, an innovative and unique quarter that combines living, working and leisure in one place. Event rooms can also be rented at Bernapark.
Initial situation/requirements:
Following the conversion of the factory halls, an event hall with space for up to 300 people was created. A foyer and the BEKB Lounge are part of the project. The three rooms can be used individually or together for events. The contract for the installation of a professional AV system was awarded to Kilchenmann AG thanks to a long and successful collaboration.
Technical implementation:
Two mobile 98-inch Samsung displays on electrically adjustable trolleys can be used individually in all rooms as a stand-alone system. However, they can also be integrated into the overall AV system using the network-based signal distribution. This means that the setup can be easily adapted to different customer requirements.
The BEKB Lounge offers an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. This exclusive space has been carefully designed to create a sophisticated environment for entertaining small groups during a variety of events. The room is technically equipped with an Epson projector, screen, sound system and microphones. The entire technology can be operated easily and intuitively via a QSC touch panel.
The event hall can accommodate up to 300 people. Large glass walls allow plenty of daylight to stream into the beautiful room. The Epson projector with 20,000 Ansi lumens ensures that guests are enthralled by a great visual experience on the 5.75 x 3.6 meter screen. The ten beautifully integrated loudspeakers ensure perfect sound all round. The QSC touch panel can be used to divide the room into different areas and thus provide targeted sound. This allows individual use both lengthwise and crosswise. The six Shure wireless microphones are ideal for meeting the requirements of such a room. Various connection options for laptops and a wireless presentation system from Barco round off the system.
Thanks to the Dante signal distribution, the system can be easily expanded with a mixing console and additional audio equipment, leaving nothing to be desired.
All rooms can be connected audiovisually and thus enable very individual use.
