The AO Foundation is the world's leading education, innovation and research organization specializing in the surgical treatment of trauma and musculoskeletal disorders.
Initial situation/requirements:
Anyone who delivers top professional performance wants to offer their employees a working environment of exceptional quality. For example, researchers should be able to use the communication tools in four meeting rooms and a spacious boardroom in an uncomplicated and intuitive way.
Technical implementation:
The installation of the four meeting rooms includes an 85-inch display, a poly soundbar with integrated microphone and camera. On the table, users will find a touch panel for operating the video conferencing system. Thanks to this system, online collaboration meetings can be held and connections easily established, regardless of the video software used. The touch panel supports this user-friendly optimization.
There are two 85-inch displays for dual-display operation in the boardroom. This means that the external participants and the presented content can be displayed simultaneously without any problems. The two loudspeakers to the left and right of the displays have been designed so that their height corresponds exactly to that of the displays. The ceiling microphone has sensors that ensure that speakers are heard clearly and distinctly, no matter where they are in the room. At the same time, disruptive noises are suppressed. Incidentally, it blends in so well with the creative ceiling that it is barely visible. The remote camera with speaker tracking function rounds off this high-quality installation.
A third display has been mounted to the left of the conference table so that people sitting at the far end of the table can read the displayed content without strain. When no meeting is taking place, image films from the AO Foundation are shown on this display.
Built-in table housings for modern power and cable management are integrated into the conference tables. The USB-C connections can be quickly and easily retracted back into the housing via cable retractors.
