"Demography in Change - What are the Consequences"? This was the motto of the 71st Winter Conference of the Swiss Trade Association held at the Parkhotel Silvretta Klosters from 15 - 17 January 2020.

Demographic change is on everyone's lips. But: what are its consequences for the economy? The 71st Business Conference in Klosters discussed various aspects of a change that affects education, labour markets and even business models. Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin, Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research, kicked off the conference. He addressed the concerns of the sgv for more entrepreneurial freedom.

The Event & Rental Service was again responsible this year as the technical partner for the stage background, lighting technology, audio technology and camera transmission.

The winter conference consists of professional presentations as well as panel discussions with up to seven people on stage at the same time, which is a big challenge with a camera. A manned camera records the entire conference and transmits the images and sound to the set-up displays so that spectators sitting further back can still participate in the conference without loss.
