Six young people have created the Stäcketöri Freiluft Festival. The idea came about because there were no major cultural events in their home region. It therefore quickly became clear that the festival should take place in the Emmental hills.
Initial situation/requirements
A unique music festival took place in Zäziwil on June 23 and 24, 2023. There was a main stage and a smaller side stage on the site. There were also various local food trucks, beautifully decorated bars, lots of lights and other great eye-catchers. Two days, two stages and 19 bands summed up this festival.
Technical implementation
Kilchenmann supported the Stäcketöri Freiluft association with its technical expertise. In addition to the construction and technical equipment of the main stage and the small tent stage, this also included the entire event technology during the festival. Our lighting and audio technicians ensured great performances by both established musicians and up-and-coming talent.
Main stage
A working deck was built around the Mobile Stage, which was used to set up and dismantle the bands on stage. This allowed the technology and instruments for the next band to be prepared in the background during a live performance. As soon as the changeover began, the band that had performed was pushed off the stage on the platforms with castors for dismantling and the platforms with the prepared instruments of the following band were simply pushed onto the stage to enable a smooth changeover.
Tent stage
The stage, which was covered with a Sarrasani tent roof, was built over and decorated with a semi-circular truss construction. The show and front lighting was attached to this curved structure to create an appealing look. The PA speakers for the sound system were hung on the construction to the left and right of the stage to ensure optimum sound. After the band performances, a DJ accompanied the enthusiastic visitors with music until the early hours of the morning.
A total of around 50 tons of event technology was installed for this festival and the Kilchenmann crew was permanently on duty with 15 people.
