The Swissbau Innovation Lab addresses the current topics of BIM - Building Information Modeling, digital solutions and building of the future. The special show for digital transformation brings the opportunities of new technologies in the construction and real estate industry to life and shows how buildings will be planned, built, used and operated in the near future. Together with over 60 partners from industry, research, planning, construction and operation, the unique staging with a novel architectural concept will be realized in the heart of the trade fair.

Communicate efficiently, avoid errors and reduce costs
Digital collaboration has become a key concept of modern work organization. Collaboration in fixed teams and ad hoc groups allows knowledge to be shared quickly and interactively. Here is a practical example: an important decision needs to be made at a construction meeting, but the structural engineer's expertise is still outstanding. The site manager invites the specialist to the meeting virtually via a video conferencing system. As soon as the structural engineer is connected and part of the team, the participants follow his explanations. The visualized plans form the basis for the discussion. Comments can be added directly to the document via the interactive display. Stored in the cloud, everyone can then access it and create an updated, complete version. This type of video conferencing or collaboration solution significantly improves direct communication. In this way, communication is more efficient, errors can be avoided and deadlines can be consistently met - saving time and money.
