IDS Group: Switzerland's Largest Network for Event and Media Technology

Inno Digital Services AG (IDS) is expanding its group of companies to include Winkler Livecom AG and its subsidiaries Winkler Systems AG and Mesol AG. The Winkler group of companies employs a total of approximately 120 people, who will now become part of the IDS group.

The IDS Group is thus strategically strengthening its position in the Swiss market and forming the largest network of professional event and media technology (ProAV) companies in Switzerland. This is based on the consolidation of several established companies in the ProAV and Livecom sectors under the IDS umbrella.

Strengthening the group's event management capabilities

Following the merger of auviso and Kilchenmann in 2024, the integration of Winkler Livecom marks the next stage of development within IDS’s Buy & Build strategy. With the existing brands auviso and Kilchenmann, Switzerland’s leading network in the field of systems technology is now complemented by the leading center of expertise in the field of events and live productions. This will enable the group to carry out event projects throughout Europe in the future.

"With Winkler Livecom, we are gaining a company with a strong event DNA, close market ties, and solid partnerships," says Urs Wälchli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the IDS Group. "Furthermore, with Christian Künzli, the IDS Group benefits from an experienced board of directors that understands the business from the ground up and actively supports the future implementation of the strategy."

Clear roles within the IDS Group

Winkler Livecom AG assumes a leading role in IDS’s events division. Winkler Systems AG remains an independent company and will strengthen the group’s capabilities in systems integration and AV installation solutions.
within the group. Mesol AG also remains independent and will strengthen its leading position in the field of media technology for the hospitality industry in the Zurich market region.

"The merger with the IDS Group opens up long-term opportunities for us," says Christian Künzli, CEO of Winkler Livecom. "We can continue to strengthen our market position while leveraging the group's strength and network—
—to our advantage."

The three companies round out the group’s portfolio across all business areas and will continue to operate under their current company names. For customers, the usual points of contact remain unchanged.
