"Demography in Change - What are the Consequences"? This was the motto of the 71st Winter Conference of the Swiss Trade Association held at the Parkhotel Silvretta Klosters from 15 - 17 January 2020.
Demographic change is on everyone's lips. But: what are its consequences for the economy? The 71st Business Conference in Klosters discussed various aspects of a change that affects education, labour markets and even business models. Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin, Head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research, kicked off the conference.
