In the middle of the impressive natural backdrop of Lake Schwendi, the Klanghaus Toggenburg is a place where architecture, sound and nature merge in a unique way. The building was designed as a "walk-in instrument" and, with its four acoustically optimized sound rooms and two outdoor stages, offers ideal conditions for musical experiments, rehearsals and events.
We were responsible for the technical implementation in the areas of audio and media control. Together with the specialist planner Tingo, who was responsible for the media technology planning, we developed tailor-made solutions that meet both the high aesthetic demands of the architecture and the functional requirements of the users. The aim was to complement the exceptional acoustics of the timber construction with precisely coordinated media technology and to optimally support the building's wide range of uses.
Thanks to the close cooperation with Tingo, the architects, the Klangwelt Toggenburg Foundation and other project participants, it was possible to realize an integrative media technology that makes the Klanghaus a unique experience space for music makers and sound enthusiasts.
