In the context of the relocation of several ETH Executive Board areas to the "Octavo" building in Zurich-Oerlikon, the need arose for, among other things, modern equipped meeting zones and meeting rooms.
These serve the personal exchange of employees and also the interactive collaboration beyond the location. For the organisation of events, an event room was also required, which can be converted into three meeting rooms if required. Kilchenmann AG was given the responsibility for the entire media technology planning and accompanied all stakeholders from the conceptual design to the final handover into operation.
One of the main focuses in finding a solution for the meeting rooms was the possibility of completely wireless presentation of digital content. This was successfully implemented with the ETH-certified solution and also allows participation in web conferences in softclient-independent BYOD mode. The event room was equipped with high-quality AV technology to guarantee smooth and independent operation even when the space is shared. In the catering area, an innovative LED RGB lighting concept
was used to create a pleasant meeting zone for staff and guests.
