Six young people have created the Stäcketöri Freiluft Festival. The idea was born because there were no big cultural events in their homeland. Therefore it was quickly clear that the festival should take place in the Emmental hills.
A unique music festival took place in Zäziwil on June 23 and 24, 2023. On the site there was a main stage and a smaller side stage. In addition, various local food trucks, nicely decorated bars, many lights and other great eye-catchers were on place. Two days, two stages and 19 bands were the conclusion of this festival.
Kilchenmann supported the Stäcketöri Freiluft association with their technical expertise. This included not only the set-up and technical equipment of the main stage and the small tent stage, but also the entire event technology during the festival. Our lighting and audio technicians ensured great performances by both seasoned musicians and up-and-coming talents.
A working deck was built around the Mobile Stage, which was used for setting up and dismantling the bands on stage. This meant that the technology and instruments could be prepared for the next band in the background during a live performance. As soon as the changeover began, the band that had its performance on the podiums with rollers was pushed off the stage for dismantling and the podiums with the prepared instruments of the following band simply pushed onto the stage to enable a smooth changeover.
The stage, which was covered with a Sarrasani tent roof, was covered and decorated with a semicircular truss structure. The show and front lights were attached to this curved structure to create an appealing look. PA speakers for sound reinforcement were hung on the structure to the left and right of the stage to ensure optimal sound. After the band performances, a DJ provided music for the enthusiastic visitors and attendees until the early hours of the morning.
In total, about 50 tons of event technology were installed for this festival and the Kilchenmann crew was permanently on duty with 15 people.
