In a tendering procedure, Kilchenmann was awarded the contract for the implementation of an evacuation system and other multimedia technology.
Good sound reinforcement and high-quality visualisations are a must in stadiums and on sports fields today! The Wankdorf sports hall in Bern has also recognised this and, together with Kilchenmann AG, has brought its multimedia technology up to the latest and most modern standard.
A three-zone sound system was installed in the sports hall, which can be used separately or in combination for each individual hall. The system consists of 16 powerful loudspeakers, three subwoofers and two touch panels for audio configuration and hall division. Two microphone units can be used to make announcements in individual zones or in the entire hall. There are radio microphones per hall and the possibility of recording individual audio signals. In the secondary zones - gymnastics hall, running track, foyer and intermediate corridors - the existing loudspeakers were taken over and the electronics behind them were replaced. All loudspeakers were programmed and calibrated by showsupply gmbh. Signal processing via a Dante audio network enables external event companies to easily connect to the system.
In order to meet modern safety requirements, an evacuation system was installed for triggering an emergency evacuation or an amok alarm. The entire system is monitored and in the event of a fault, a message is automatically sent by e-mail to the operator and Kilchenmann. A fast response time and remote access to software and equipment ensure operation. The entire system is UPS-supported and can be operated without power for 30 minutes in an emergency.
Kilchenmann successfully implements projects in the sports sector, for example in the Stade-de-Suisse, PostFinance Arena, in Magglingen or in the brand new Mobiliar Arena in Gümligen.
