Kilchenmann modernised the media centre's press conference room with intuitive, high-quality audio and video technology solutions.

Kilchenmann was allowed to supply and install the entire audio and video technology for the modernisation of the press conference hall. On the one hand, the existing projectors were replaced by new ones that display images in 16:9 format. On the other hand, it was a special challenge to construct the screen in such a way that the projection surfaces and the central area form as much of a unit as possible. Furthermore, the video management was renewed to support the current digital interfaces and resolutions.

In the audio section, the front speakers were replaced by controllable line speakers, which were newly supplemented by integrated podium speakers. These significantly increase the speech intelligibility of the podium speakers. All audio signals are integrated via a Dante network, which makes it possible to realise extensions or adjustments in the future without great effort.

The conference system now consists of combined speech units, which have been designed in a special version for console installation. The participants can set their desired language channel of the interpreters as well as ask questions via the integrated microphone. In each of the three interpreter booths there are two microphone units, which the interpreters can set intuitively and easily to suit their needs. Two permanently installed touch panels and an iPad are available for controlling the system.
