As technical integration partner for digital advertising media of APG|SGA, we were allowed to realise 13 LED screens for ShopVille.

With around 180 shops, ShopVille in Zurich's main railway station is the busiest shopping centre in Switzerland.

APG|SGA (Allgemeine Plakatgesellschaft AG) is responsible for the comprehensive modernisation of the advertising spaces in the architecturally sophisticated ShopVille. As APG|SGA's technical integration partner for digital advertising media, we were able to realise an exciting and at the same time challenging out-of-home media project in the area of digital signage with a total of 13 screens. All advertising media were integrated into doors or existing facades with complex technical set-ups, without losing the original overall concept of the shopping centre.

Two Barco X2 indoor LED screens with 2.7 mm pixel pitch were used. The eBoards are in a prime location for pedestrians. Around 4,200 advertising loops of 90 seconds each are broadcast weekly in HD format on a screen area of 3,600 x 2,000 mm. The systems have their own central playout system connected via fibre optic cable, which is located in a separate, state-of-the-art server room. The tiles were installed in large glass wing doors with the help of a construction. Thanks to the simple handling, maintenance and servicing work can be carried out easily via back access.
