A look back at the AGM season with auviso

The 2025 AGM season is drawing to a close. Between March and May, auviso was able to support a large number of general meetings (AGMs) throughout Switzerland. Whether large or small, each event has its own individual requirements that demand careful planning, clear communication and reliable technical implementation.

This year saw a wide variety of formats: traditional face-to-face events, hybrid models with online access or deliberately streamlined AGMs. Regardless of the format chosen, the requirements remain the same: Technology, organization and processes must function smoothly

This requires not only technical expertise, but also a good understanding of the processes and roles of everyone involved - from the customer to the share register and other service providers. Structured cooperation at an early stage is crucial for the efficient and professional implementation of a GM.

The NZZ AGM: comprehensive planning and implementation

The Annual General Meeting of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) is a good example of a comprehensively planned event. Over 1000 guests, including around 900 shareholders, made their way to the Kongresshaus in Zurich.

As general contractor, auviso took responsibility for the concept, detailed planning, technical implementation and coordination of all partners. This began with the stage construction as well as the entire signage and the various stations for the shareholders, such as the validation desk, the shareholder desk and the information desk, which were built from measurement components for the NZZ. In addition, further information points were available at which specific topics relating to the Annual General Meeting were covered. In addition, auviso's event management team organized and was responsible for the entire catering, decoration, event management, security and guest support.

The content team was also involved in the content production for the NZZ General Assembly. All the content shown at the event was designed and provided according to NZZ's wishes.

This created a clearly structured event experience for the shareholders - from the morning coffee to the subsequent aperitif riche and joint lunch.

AGMof a renowned chemical company: technical complexity in a hybrid format

The hybrid AGM of a renowned chemical company brought with it special requirements. Shareholders and guests on site as well as the digital audience had to be integrated at the same time. Participation was hybrid - on site or online - with live transmission in four languages and the possibility of active voting.

auviso was responsible for the stage construction as well as the organization and coordination of the furniture. In addition to traditional event technology and event management, auviso provided four live streams, one for each language. An internet back-up was used to ensure a stable process even in the event of network interruptions. This ensured that all shareholders could participate and vote at all times.

Perlen Industrieholding AG AGM: clear planning even for smaller events

The Annual General Meeting of Perlen Industrieholding AG with over 300 participants shows that even smaller AGMs require careful planning. The right setting is needed for every size of event, both in terms of space and organization.

The coordination with the share register, the design of the stage and the technical implementation were also precisely organized for this event. Clear communication in advance ensured the success of the event.
